Synopsis: A website designing company received a detailed brief from the Kent Eye Surgery which involved the development of a brand new website that would incorporate full content management, a login area for both patients and GPs to seek online advice and an SEO friendly structure to enhance the site's natural Google listings.
Not phased by the challenge, the website designing company happily jumped in, starting with a complete overhaul of the website look and feel, not to mention developing their existing logo further. The site itself took approximately three months to develop, using fully bespoke PHP code, integrated with a MySQL database.
To ensure that the site gains and maintains a strong Google ranking, the company used techniques to generate SEO friendly URL strings that the likes of Google would crawl and cache easily.
