Synopsis:

We were offered a fantastic opportunity by the Canterbury City Council to design and develop a business-to-business portal that would give local business owners and retails outlets the opportunity to gain local and national business news, fed from one centralised source.

As part of the Canterbury City Partnership, the aim of the website is get businesses talking and expressing opinions to effectively take positive strides in the city and surrounding area. Each member that signs up can gain their own user account, unlocking access to a number of business tools, news articles, event information and interactive features such as polls, national and local business news, transport and logistical data, not to mention the opportunity to post comments on articles within the website.

Each week, the website collates all of the news, event and data together into a single email newsletter which is then distributed to each registered member, making the site an invaluable tool for each members day-to-day working life.

At launch, the site is very much in it's infancy however over the time, this site will grow and grow into a huge archive of business news, resources and data that is all dedicated to the businesses in the city of Canterbury. Best of all, it's free to join until April 2009!
